Project Chevelle

It's been a few years since we have touched the 1968 Chevelle project and we get people asking all the time if we still have it....Well yes we still do, but it's been sitting in storage while we have been collecting parts for it and deciding on what direction to go with it.  Originally when we bought the car it was a Procharged LS on e98 with the factory GM ecu and 35x15 Goodyears on it with a 15x15 Weld wheel....Since then we've sold the powertrain setup to build something that will make ALOT more power...We've got quite a few ideas for the car's future, but nothing is set in stone other than it's going back to a small tires on the back.  We've even been tossing the idea around of a TKM Coyote capable of 2500hp and toss a Tick Performance Built T56 behind it to go play with these stickshift racers!  No matter which combo we go with it's going to remain a streetable car that will see real street miles and hopefully get into a few drag and drive events!

We do know a few things for sure....Engine management will be handled by the Haltech Nexus R5 along with Turbosmart products for the boost control and oil control;  Boost will be coming from a badass FIS turbo....all the fittings/hose/lines will be from Redhorse Performance.  Chassis setup/wiring and power management will be handled by the pros at Black Pearl Performance.

Next step while we decide on the powertrain combo is getting the car to a chassis shop to build a complete new 25.1 moly chassis for the car along with tons of carbon and titanium goodies!

Here are a few of the companies we will be working with and utilizing parts from: CPR Competition, Haltech, Motion Raceworks, TBM Brakes, TRZ Motorsports, Forced Inductions, and Butter Welding.  We will be looking for more sponsors as the car gets closer to completion so if you or a company you work for wants to help support this build or use some of your products please reach out to us and let us know how you'd like to help.
